COACHELLA 2017

COACHELLA 2017

Art. Music. Fashion.
The only combo to have us opting for a weekend in the desert over a weekend at the beach.
Coachella is one of the biggest festivals in the world for a reason, and every year it seems to be more impressive and more memorable than the last. With the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Bon Iver, The XX, Majid Jordan, Radiohead, and soooo many other amazing artists, who could say no?!
This time around, we headed out to Coachella with our amazing Revolve family. They made the trip so special, as they always do, and we were able to catch up with a lot of friends that we don’t often get to see. Everyone always asks us what it’s like working with Revolve and honestly, it’s even more fabulous than you can imagine. It was definitely a weekend to remember, but it’s only made us even more excited for 2018!
Day 1
We kicked off Day 1 in serious style at Hotel Revolve, prepping ourselves for the festival by listening to tunes by the pool and adding some finishing touches to our outfits with the amazing pieces we got from Revolve.
Phantogram, Travis Scott, The XX, Banks, Mac Miller
How do you choose?!
Day 1 was such a fun intro to the weekend, we didn’t think it could get any better…
Day 2
This time the party started at The Revolve Estate – an amazing property that could have made us forget Coachella was even happening. They had everything you could think of for the ultimate party, even an In-n-Out truck!
Frasier Sterling Tank // Mink Pink Denim // Affaires Pink Denim Jacket //Garrett Leight Sunglasses // Manglar Swim Top // RE/DONE Denim
Future, Bon Iver, Gucci Mane, Majid Jordan, Nav…
Day 2 was crazy.
Such an amazing line up, could it have been even better than day 1?!
We made sure to arrive at the festival a little earlier so we could explore the grounds properly and discover all the special spots before the huge crowds turned up. The Rose Garden was so beautiful as the sunset, and it was amazing to watch with the sounds of Bon Iver in the background.
Day 3
The #REVOLVEFESTIVAL was calling our names
Ale Knit Dress // House of Harlow Fuzzy Coats // Privacy Please Top // Anna Kosturova Shorts
But duty called at the Coachella festival ground…
DJ Khaled, Lorde, Tove Lo, Kendrick Lamar
Coachella is definitely something to add to your bucket list if you haven’t already. We are so eager to find out what amazing artists are going to be playing at next years event, and can’t wait for another unforgettable weekend away with our favorite people.
Oh, and guess what?
Episode 2 of ‘A Tash & Dev kind of life’ is now up! We documented our entire Palm Springs trip leading up to Coachella, with behind the scenes footage of our Look Book photo shoot and all of the festival fun. Make sure you check it out.

VIX SWIMWEAR: PAULA HERMANNY

VIX SWIMWEAR: PAULA HERMANNY ViX has always been one of our absolute favorite brands, so we were thrilled to have the opportunity to talk to ViX founder, Paula Hermanny. As bikini lovers and designers ourselves, Paula has been an inspiration to us with her incredibly classy and chic resort wear, and her equally as beautiful personality! Here’s what she had to say: Q: What inspired the creation of ViX? I was born in Brazil, on the island capital of Vitória do Espírito Santo. When I was 21, I moved from Brazil to San Diego to study English and fell in love with the city, its beaches, and the laid back attitude of the people – very reminiscent of Brazil. My one dilemma was that I simply could not find a bathing suit that I liked. Every time I went back to Brazil, I would stock up on bikinis and make little tweaks and changes here and there.  Soon, all my friends were asking for bikinis just like mine – and that was how ViX was born. I went from customizing swimwear for my ...
